What does design mean in construction and why do I need it?
Project design encompasses more than just a set of blueprints!
Other just as important factors must be designed for everyone to know exactly what is to be built. Material selections, manufacturer reference material, sub-contractor coordination, city/county planning, engineering, budgeting, scheduling, and more are often required to build or remodel any given project.

What can I expect during my consultation?
When we come out to see your project, we will want to go over a few things to see if we are the best option for you.
We will sit down with you and discuss:

The desired outcomes, special requirements, and must-haves

We will examine the site and the work area to get a better understanding of the project requirements

We take pictures

Record preliminary measurements

We will also take note of any potential challenges or obstacles that may arise during the project and discuss them with you ahead of time

2. Design Agreement
Fixed Price Agreement to Design the Project
If the project is a good fit for everyone, we will present a design agreement to start ironing out all of the details.
What can I expect during the design phase of my project?
When we enter into a design agreement, we will start putting together all of the details and
We will collect and document:

All blueprints and drawings required by the city/county

Select all materials and finishes to be used in the project

Determine if there are any permit requirements for the projects (ex. zoning, property line clearances, surveys)

Acquire all required engineering for the project

We will also take note of any potential challenges or obstacles that may arise during the project and discuss them with you ahead of time

Collect quotes from subcontractors and vendors

Apply for building permits

Once the building permit is received we will provide a fixed-price cost for the project
